I know what you’re thinking - with all the coronavirus drama, now’s not the time to be thinking about overseas travel.
That’s fair enough, but there are some great deals to be had for those who want to lock in some good-value business class flights for later in the year when, with a bit of luck, normality has returned and we can all get back to our adventures.
One fare that caught my eye is a ticket with Kenya Airways that lets you enjoy the glorious South African summer (down there, summer starts as early as October).
Right now, the Kenyan flag carrier is offering return business class flights from Mumbai to Johannesburg for just £933 (around INR 88,000), with connecting flights in Nairobi.
From Johannesburg, you can set off for any one of South Africa’s many attractions, including Kruger National Park, the Winelands, the Garden Route or Cape Town.
Getting back to the deal, and you’ll want to play around with your flight selections to make sure you get as many sectors as possible operated by Kenya Airway’s 787 aircraft, which feature fully flat-beds in a 2-2-2 configuration.
The legs operated by a 737 won’t have flat beds, but you’ll still be able to enjoy comfortable seats up front arranged in a 2-2 layout, similar to those found on short-haul flights in the US.
You don’t have long to book, though, as tickets must be issued before March 20, for travel commencing before November 30 as per the fare rules:
To book, head over to Kenya Airways or an online travel agent.
Anyone fancy spending a summer in South Africa?
